Pure Nature gave thought to every detail before offering functional, custom-made bedclothes specifically designed for the needs of people with allergies or environmental illnesses, and for health-conscious customers. Our German manufacturing facilities use only high-quality natural materials for their traditionally handmade products.

The house dust mite enjoys living in your bed, and that can be a danger for people with allergies.

Basically, mites are in all households. The place of residence of these annoying flatmates depends on the climate (warmth and moisture) and food supply. The house dust mite is especially fond of  human and animal dander, animal fibres (such as wool, down, cashmere, camel hair) and molds. Unfortunately, their favorite place to be is in our bed because of the cozy, warm climate between our mattress, pillow and blanket.

The following range of products will help you to strongly reduce the allergen contamination caused by house dust mites.

- Use only washable bedclothes: Blankets and pillows should be washable at at least 60°C and don't forget to air your bed regularly!
- Use specially manufactured allergen and mite-tight covers for all mattresses, pillows and blankets.
- Linens should be changed weekly and must also be washable at at least 60°C.

Pillows
Our pillows are stuffed medium-hard, with a zipper so that the pillow may be refilled. The filling is incorporated in an extra casing in order to avoid dust formation. The pillows are about 9 cm high so that the spine is relieved during sleep. The width is 40 cm so that only the head lies flat and not the shoulders.

Blankets
Blankets made from pure natural materials are important for a healthy sleep, because in contrast to synthetic fibers or animal feathers, they contain no allergenic substances. The blankets are completely untreated, free of Eulan (moth protection) and synthetic resins. The material used is for the most part 100% organic cotton. The fillings are fixated through quilting, so that the blanket is especially voluminous and cozy.

These products are constantly being monitored and certified by organisations such as SKAL. This guarantees that the products purchased are of high quality and trustworthy. The magazine Oeko-Test has commended these products often for their quality and their toxin-free materials.
