Natural oil / wax is used. Upon request we offer the product untreated for the same price, which later however, requires higher maintenance.

For more information about the oil / wax:
As a standard surface for the tone natural beech we use a naturally-based VITAVOL furniture oil. As a solvent this product contains a small portion of highly distilled, aromatic-free isoparaffine, which although not of natural origin, is already virtually odorless during the process. After it is completely dry it is not harmful to your health because it does not emit any hazardous materials. Your furniture is thus protected but is as harmless as if it were untreated. This product is a possible alternative for people with allergies or MCS that react towards the natural components in oil and wax such as citrusterpene.
