Naturally Sweet:
Rebaudioside A is the sweetest part of the stevia leaf. This substance is 300 to 400 times sweeter than sugar and calorie-free!
Products with a rebaudioside A content of up to 97% are especially sweet and have no bitter aftertaste. The rebaudioside A is derived from the stevia plant without chemical or enzymatic modification of the glycosides.
Why does REB-A tastes so good?
The main reason is that most of the bitter-tasting stevioside has been removed. Most important for the intense sweet taste is the high amount of REB-A.
How can Stevia REB-A be used?
Try it on anything you would normally use sugar for. With Stevia, you can strongly reduce calories and still get the full flavour!
It sweetens your coffee, cappuccino or tea and can even be used to sweeten alcoholic beverages. Try it in your baked goods: cakes, pastries, desserts, bisquits, and of course any filling for these fine treats.
In addition, REB-A can be used in milk products such as cream, yoghurt, curd and self-made ice cream. Try it in homemade marmelades and sauces......
It can be mixed with other sweeteners like sugar, erythritol, etc.
Stevia REB-A is temperature resistant and is ideally suited for cooking and baking. It's anti-bacterial properties even extend the preservability!

A very special leaf: Stevia rebaudiana, which is also known as sugar leaf or sweet honey leaf, has been used as a sweetener in many countries for centuries. Since December 2011 the ingredients of steviol glycosides, which consist mainly of stevioside, have been approved in the EU as a food additive. The Stevia plant comes from Paraguay. In Japan, Korea and South America, it has been used as an additive for medicine and as a sweetener for many years. The major advantages of Stevia products are that they are temperature resistant (up to 200° C) and their strong sweetness intensity. Another bonus is that they are calorie-free. Stevia is suitable for diabetics, because the blood sugar level is not increased. Stevia products are also friendly to your teeth: Stevia inhibits plaque and thus the development of caries.
The dosage is the key: An overdose of Stevia products tends to taste bitter. That's why we recommend sticking to the dosage recommendations of the manufacturer.
